I was referred to Mark by a PGA professional in Florida, and he came highly recommended. I decided to make the drive from Chicago to Michigan, and I’m glad I did.
Mark’s approach to fitting is anything but conventional. We didn’t even start by discussing clubs. Instead, he told me I had issues with my swing. He said, “How can you properly fit clubs if you don’t truly understand the golf swing?” He was absolutely right, and it’s something no fitter had ever said to me before.
I brought all my Track Man data with me, and Mark simply asked, “How are those numbers working out for you?” I had to laugh, because he made a great point.
The biggest takeaway for me was realizing how critical the shaft is, not just the clubhead. Mark explained how, every year, golf companies promote increased ball speed with drivers, but in my case, it was actually the shafts in my clubs that were causing many of my issues.
I went in thinking I needed brand new clubs. What I really needed was to be properly fit and re-shaft my current set. Example; Mark changed my shaft in my driver to a Newton 4 dot fast, gained 25 yards, less effort, higher ball flight. I was playing with Fuji Kura ” Velocore Blue stiff. Mark saved me a lot of money!
Mark is knowledgeable, and truly understands the golf swing. He changed my golf game. I have already recommend Mark to 3 of my friends.

Quite a memorable experience. I learned more in 1 day than I’ve learned in the 25 years I’ve been playing. I’ve applied what I learned and my game is proof! My ball flight is where it needs to be and my mechanics are better. Causing all kinds of problems with members in my league ( losing $$) Mark is quite capable of fixing your swing as well. All you have to do is listen and follow the instructions and you to can be playing from the short grass.Thanks again Mark. Keep them in the fairway!

Swing Confidence Restored!

I have taken lessons from others but I feel that the training sessions that I had with Mark were by far better for improving my swing than the others. He is very knowledgeable as most pros are but maybe it is how he explained things that helped me learn and correct some bad swing habits. He also installed new shafts in my irons, they are perfect and my scores this year are proof that he knows his stuff and the days of not knowing what golf swing I might have when I show up at the course are over. Last year Mark fit me for a set of Cleveland irons and gave me a 1 on 1 lesson. He made them himself exactly how I wanted, and he fixed my slice. He did it all for an unbeatable price! Those Cleveland irons look and feel fantastic, I’ve never hit the ball straighter or longer than I am now. Mark WILL help you become a better golfer if you let him. Best and First Fitting Ever

I have know Mark for over 20 years. Never has he once pushed any equipment on me whatsoever. I went to him recently because my swing has changed over the last several years. I experienced a 200 lb weight loss and needed some serious help. I always thought I was doing things right, that could not have been more farther from the truth. Mark spent time with me, made some major changes in my complete swing, setup, etc. I finally decided to stop buying clubs from shows and the internet. Was referred to Mark from a friend after I was looking for a driver shaft. Mark agreed to meet me and see what I needed,(which I love more than just blindly ordering), so the fun began. He talked me through the grip and posture and ball position, then worked the swing to get the mechanics more in tune. I was in short, a mess you could say. He laid out all the changes he suggested I make and spent the actual time explaining the reality of things to me. Long story short, my entire bag was redone by him, I have never hit so well in all my life. I truly recommend if you are looking for someone to fit you correctly with knowledge, Mark at Parfit is an absolute genius. Bang for buck was good and timeframe was efficient, quality of product and services is absolutely stellar! I will be visiting with mark for the season on some lessons and advice. From now on Mark is the only man I will let make adjustments to my clubs and advice in my head. Thanks a million Mark, you are a true tradesman.

No BS to the Point

What Mark did for my game was golf life changing. I’m so glad I was lucky enough to be referred to him. This guy is the expert in everything golf clubs. I have spoke to so called experts from major brand named places and was floored how much I was being scammed into stuff these experts were trying to sell me.

Mark is thorough, and will tell you things that you may not want to hear, but need to hear if you are looking to improve and enjoy your golf game. Mark treats every individual to that individuals needs rather than what people think they want. Every person is built different, swings are different, heights, sizes etc all play a factor and Mark is truly the expert in fitting you into the right clubs and setting up your BAG. I’d have to say anyone who doesn’t at least hear what he can do for you when searching for new clubs and lessons is making a mistake that will cost them hours of enjoyment on the golf course.
