I was referred to Mark by a PGA professional in Florida, and he came highly recommended. I decided to make the drive from Chicago to Michigan, and I’m glad I did.
Mark’s approach to fitting is anything but conventional. We didn’t even start by discussing clubs. Instead, he told me I had issues with my swing. He said, “How can you properly fit clubs if you don’t truly understand the golf swing?” He was absolutely right, and it’s something no fitter had ever said to me before.
I brought all my Track Man data with me, and Mark simply asked, “How are those numbers working out for you?” I had to laugh, because he made a great point.
The biggest takeaway for me was realizing how critical the shaft is, not just the clubhead. Mark explained how, every year, golf companies promote increased ball speed with drivers, but in my case, it was actually the shafts in my clubs that were causing many of my issues. 
I went in thinking I needed brand new clubs. What I really needed was to be properly fit and re-shaft my current set. Example; Mark changed my shaft in my driver to a Newton 4 dot fast, gained 25 yards, less effort, higher ball flight. I was playing with Fuji Kura ” Velocore Blue stiff. Mark saved me a lot of money!
Mark is knowledgeable, and truly understands the golf swing. He changed my golf game. I have already recommend Mark to 3 of my friends.

I struggled with my golf clubs and my swing for years. When we first met, Mark asked me to hit a few shots with my wedge. Within one minute, he identified that I had a reverse pivot. He then spent 30 minutes helping me understand exactly what was causing my issues, my grip, posture, and setup and turn.
Over the years, I’ve been fit for clubs and taken lessons, but Mark was the only person who truly took the time to explain why I was generating so much spin…reverse pivot and amongst other problems in my swing. LOL What I’ve learned is that many so called club fitters selling equipment don’t understand the golf swing, they simply focus on numbers on a screen. How can you be properly fitted!
I also learned that I had been playing shafts that were far too stiff for me. I now hit my irons an average of 12 yards farther and my driver 20 yards farther with less effort! I thought I needed new irons and a new driver, but I didn’t, I just needed the right shaft. This guy truly knows shafts, golf clubs and the golf swing.
Mark was honest about my swing and my equipment. I have never spoken to anyone in the golf business with his level of knowledge.

Was referred to Mark from a friend after I was looking for a driver shaft. Mark agreed to meet me and see what I needed,(which I love more than just blindly ordering), so the fun began. He talked me through the grip and posture and ball position, then worked the swing to get the mechanics more in tune. I was in short, a mess you could say. When a friend suggested I meet with Mark to have my clubs properly fitted, I didn’t think it was necessary. I thought I had clubs that were just fine and the problem was me. But reluctantly I had Mark redo my entire bag. He explained that my shafts were too short for me. As a tall woman he set me up with longer, softer shafts in all my clubs.
